We’re gassing up the Econoline. We’re back. Did you miss us? We missed you. Now listen up, I might look like a used up piece of roots rock meat but don’t write this mouth breather off just yet. I’ve got an army behind me in the form of the Mission Ex. Nothing is wrong, everything’s right. We’ll be out there giving ourselves, all for you, night after night.

Hey, I’ve still got dreams to fulfill, you know? Okay, I’ll probably never own a guitar with my name written on the fretboard in mother of pearl, but after the right (or wrong!) gig, try and stop me from getting that tattoo of Winnie the Pooh on the side of my neck. It could happen.

We’ve had a few weeks off. We’re pale and rested. Personally, I’ve been making the most of it, taking long walks on Ocean Beach real early in the morning. I walk like Nixon did, with my hands behind my back, slow and pensive. . .

We’re dead heading out Rocky Mountain Way. And from there into parts unknown. Over and up to Cambridge, Mass with stops along the way.
