“Are You Riding with Me?” TOUR DATES

Gentlepeople, know this: there’s a couple last minute UK solo shows and some corrections here and there: we were bumped up in Nottingham to the Town Hall and we’re playing our first Paris gig in far too many years to count. And another date added in Holland. These booking agents just won’t take no for an answer apparently! You know who else doesn’t take no for an answer? Rapists. I shouldn’t complain. After all, it beats folding underwear at Nordstrom’s.

Come see Stephie at the merch table: “Dreaming Waylons Dreams” is being released for the masses! It was originally recorded in 2006 and was only available as a limited edition in super-special packaging. But it will now be coming out (in a less expensive and more widely available edition) on Decor Records. Check it: < http://www.decorrecords.com>. ¡Let Freedom Ring! will finally be available on vinyl, too. Last but not least we’ll have some new T-Shirts for sale (if we can get our act together, of course).

We’d also like to give a tip of the hat to new guy Paul Taylor on drums. Paul’s from Memphis, the cradle of Western civilization, the capitol of the Mississippi Delta, the death-place of The King, and the birthplace of rock and roll and wrestling. We first met Paul when he was playing with the Dickinson boys years ago and again last summer when he was playing with Amy Lavere. Paul’s got that Hill Country groove in his blood, so expect us to dust off some old songs (and work up some new ones, too).
