SKETCHY THINGS EVERYONE IGNORES ABOUT CHUCK PROPHET AND STEPHANIE FINCH

Breaking news: CP and the mighty Mission Express will be playing the Starry Plough in Berkeley on New Year’s Eve. Get your tickets. It’s been known to sell out.

In the near term, we’ve got a short run of rare Chuck and Stephie acoustic duo shows on the West Coast coming right up where we’ll be swapping songs and melding our two songbooks together. That’s a fact, Stephie and I are embarking (thesaurus alert!) on another one of our folk rock rampages. There will be no fighting on the dance floor! All the fighting will be onstage. Operators standing by. With every advance ticket sold, we add another set of sit-ups, and push ups to our routine.

And folks, if for some reason I don’t make it back? It would be nice for my mom to know that I had some special qualities she might not know about.

Of course I’ve done a lot of things I’m not proud of, but don’t hesitate to fill my online Remembrance Page with “merch table memories.” I mean, you don’t have to cry or anything but nobody’s stopping you either.
