Buffaloed in Buffalo

Caught the magic last night in Buffalo; a life changing experience. It's not just a band, it's an organism! They rock, they swing, they groove all while imparting wisdom and cracking wise.

We tend to under-value our true storytellers until someone makes their art into an A-list movie. With the new album Chuck is at the top of his game, and as great as the record is, seeing it delivered from the stage is transcendent. No showboating - talented players who are attuned and empathetic allowing Chuck to trust his muse knowing that any instinct will be supported and enhanced.

Godspeed and safe travels, folks - you gave us more than we deserved and we will pay that forward.

Your challenge last night re: Phantom of the Paradise.

Hey Chuck, 1st time attendee at your concert in Dallas. You were right about the theater where Phantom was filmed. Here's a 2 paragraph reference from WIKI:

"The "Paradise" concert scenes were filmed at the Majestic Theater in Dallas, Texas. The "extras" in the audience had responded to an open cattle call for locals interested in being in the film.

Sissy Spacek was the film's set dresser, assisting her then boyfriend-now-husband Jack Fisk, the film's production designer. She would later star in De Palma's Carrie in 1976."

Cheers, and do come back soon! I'll do my best to get many friends to join us!

Sweet New Album!!

I'm lovin' the new album, Bobby Fuller... Thank you Chuck, Stephanie, James, Kevin and the whole Mission Express playing on this album. Congrats on the 80 metacritic score - for what it's worth, still nice, though 99 would seem reasonable. See you soon, in upstate NY and Mass.
