DreamsChuck was in a dream I had last night. He was a mechanic then I think a plumber - kept giving me advice with a sly sorta smile. Steph was there too and all I really can remember for sure is feeling safe as long as they were around. Strange dream - recently my cat died and I've been feeling horrible after the trauma and I've been slowly coming to and the dream was comforting. Don't usually remember my dreams either. Anyway, Chuck, please come back up around the Albany NY, Northampton MASS areas if ya can next time yer sailing through. Miss ya, seem to be in my thoughts for whatever, whenever and wherever. Ever cover a Zappa tune? I've updated my FZ collection and could imagine you doing an awesome cover of like, Uncle Remus, or da like. |

CP, I'm not real familiar w/ Black Napkins, but i think FZ used to do it alot in concert. I'm sure it would be a great choice. i've been listening to the Bongo Fury cd lately, FZ w/ Capt Beefheart from 75. great stuff! are you familiar w/ Advance Romance? or She's 200 Years Old? please check it out! sure would be nice to hear you do any of those! |

CP and the Spanish Bombs DVDJust finished watching the Chuck Prophet & the Spanish Bombs DVD which arrived in the mail today. It was definitely worth the price of admission. Chuck and crew looked like they had a blast performing and the sizeable audience were on their feet singing along. I highly recommend this DVD and if you have the extra cash pick up a copy of Green on Red Live at the Rialto. Both DVDs can be found at the bellesound web site. |

I too had issues with The Spanish Bombs DVD but wasn't sure what to do when the second one didn't play right either. It's good up until "Wrong 'em Boyo" and then it gets all pixely. I've tried both on many players and it gets stuck everyitme at the same point. My player usually plays everything. Neither of my computers recognize the disc in the port. I hate to have to get a refund, I really wanted to see "Lovers Rock" :( |

Hey, thanks for this Blureu. I downloaded it but haven't listened yet, looking forward to it - but I have checked out some vids on youtube of Chuck at the fest which are awesome. The dates are different tho, is there another set? The part which makes me sad for humanity is that 'You Did' has had only 62 views so far. |
