CP at the Rams Head

I saw Chuck Prophet for the fist time 1/31/05, Amazing. There were two guys recording the show. Is there any way to get a copy? Come back to Baltimore soon.

The Funk Box Baltimore

I saw CP for the first time on Sunday night and all I have to say is "I am a believer in the Prophet!" Best show I've ever seen!

Rockin the Rams Head

Saw CP and gang last night in Annapolis MD. Small crowd, but the band was awesome and CP's guitar playing was incredible. We've seen CP three times now and have become devoted fans...I also sing his praises to all who will listen. And he was very gracious after the show when I told him that, even though I was gushing like the 46 year old long haired teenager that I am. Great site, too! And here's something weird: I was skimming along the diary section and read about Chuck in Hamburg Germany and his escort, Norbert. My ex-brother in law is German, lives in Hamburg, is named Norbert, and works part time as a dj. Could he be Chuck's Norbert?? What a small world! Anyway, thanks for an enjoyable evening. I'm now bookmarking this space.

Any word on the KY shows?

Hello Kentucky. How were the shows? Any surprises from the Mission Ex's bag of tricks?

Chicago - Schuba’s

OK, we may be retards. But I like to think some of us are at least of the "Rain Man" variety. We know things — like that Quantas has never crashed. So, it was not lost on us that the most thrilling and emotional part of the show (Tuesday at Schuba's) happened during the song with the most trivial of lyrics— "Who put the bam in the bamma-lamma-ding-dong...." But hey, we get it. Don't we? Yeah, I think we do.

Chuck and the Band in the UK ...?

Paperclip Agency has changed the status of all the UK dates to "tbc". Hope this doesn't mean the tour is in doubt. I've been counting on two shows at the Borderline again at the very least, and if the Winchester gig happens my wife has promised to come along too - we saw Chuck in Edinburgh back in the early 90s. Anyhow, hope things work out for the best. Surely no audiences treat the band better than London audiences! Right?!! :-)
