Can’t wait to see Chuck!!!!Chuck Prophet is coming to my area on Jun 9th!!! Jammin' Java in Vienna, VA is a stone's throw from where I live and I'll finally get to see a full Chuck P. show. This makes me sooooo happy cuz I've only seen Chuck once in ATL, GA w/MOFRO and his set got cut short when he broke a string. Jammin' Java is a totally nice place w/a great sound system. This show will be super fantastic good, I just know it! See you up front Chuck! 8-) |

Winchester gigWhat a great gig this was. Fantastic and unique to see Chuck in such an intimate venue. Next time, though, I'd rather not travel so many miles to get to see you - can you maybe visit the Concorde 2 at Brighton next tour? THANKS. |

Meant to say that a friend of mine who came along said his ears hadn't taken such a battering since he saw Led Zeppelin in the early 70s. He and his son both loved the show, by the way, but did anyone else think it was particularly loud? Our ears were still ringing 48 hrs later! |

I was there too! I personally didn't find it specially loud and I was smack infront of Chuck. And to those who remember, Chuck's 'new friend' Dave was dancing away like a freak next too me! Really great gig, great vibe! |

Winchester - last night of the UK tourIt's always tempting to hope for something special for the last night of the tour, but, boy, did Chuck and the band surpass themselves tonight. The show seemed more intense than the first Borderline show, with Chuck's guitarwork the standout: focussed, fiery, boundless. It was really nice to see Chuck and Stephie sharing a mike again (not much choice on such a tiny stage, I guess). Surprises included a rampaging Shore Patrol and mad Roadrunner encore, with Mark Mallman going ape on Stephie's keyboard. The town drunk nearly spoilt it all, but Chuck coped with him incredibly well. There was a great demob happy atmosphere, with Chuck really chatty all night. Thanks for the namecheck on Old Friends, Chuck; hung on for a little while to try and say hi but we had to get back to relieve the babysitter. Not sure how you ended up in quaint little old Winchester, but hope you make it back again on the next tour. |
